On the 23rd of September Middlesex University in London holds host to a conference celebrating the tenth birthday of the video sharing website Youtube. With a selection of keynote speakers from across the globe this conference aims to look into the future of Youtube and what this may hold in relation to recent developments in technology.
Professor Jean Burgess, a keynote speaker at the event is a professor at the Queensland University of Technology. Currently researching and having published on new and digital media, Burgess is an important participant in examining the rapidly changing social and creative media. She has previously discussed copyright issues in terms of the creative activity of its users.
Another expert contributing to this conference is Sonia Livingstone an expert on young people and Stuart Cunningham discussing changes in screen development.
